This really doesn't feel like a constructive or objective post at all. In a forum wherein you're supposedly attempting civil discussion, your leading post shouldn't be riddled with jabs and opinions. The way you generalize faith penalizes anyone (apparently) indignant enough to have faith in anything, whereas you paint a lovely picture for atheists.
I couldn't give much of a shit about God or religion but it seems to me you're being an ass.
The way you generalize faith penalizes anyone (apparently) indignant enough to have faith in anything, whereas you paint a lovely picture for atheists.
Misread your reply the first time, How is what i said about faith a jab? They have a strong faith in their beliefs, their belief is all they need and anything outside of their faith is false information, virtually any religious scripture claims any other religion is wrong. So how is that taking a jab? Anytime i see many religious folks even say they have their faith and they don't need anything else, so how is someone having a lot of faith condescending?

Edited by NateDergg: 4/25/2015 3:19:36 AMYou're generalizing, sure.. you're specifically generalizing Blind Christians and using that as your example for All. Anyone who says "FaIth iS aLl I nEeD!" Is not even the every day christian. Maybe in the 1800's. There are many integrations being made specifically aimed at getting this kind of bigoted attention NOT to be the norm. Though here you are, trucking away unabashed.

Nah dude, asshole doesn't come into play until you decide to take a shit.

I respect your opinion

That's what I said
-
Where in the original post did i take a jab at anyone?
-
You generalized both sides.
-
I know that he said i was being an ass and taking jabs so i asked where? Generalizing a group isn't insulting unless your saying something negative or condescending.
-
I never stated it was insulting. The main point is that you're generalizing. Generalizations are made by idiots.
