sooo, today, i bought tons of Exotic Shards from Xur
So i can upgrade my exotics immediately when 5/19 arrives :-) i bought 32 since i have lots of strange coins and im left with 131 coins. i have tripple exotic weapons that i use the most since i have 3 classes so they dont share weapons, i h8 using the app and vault. im not upgrading ALL exotics, thats craxy most of them are just for collection been waiting on Ghorn to sell since thats the only exotic i need but that isnt going to happen, and if Xur does i get the feeling it will cost 100 strange coins lol. srs
So guys, stock up on exotic shards if u have tons of exotics to upgrade on 5/19.
another reason....the DEMAND for it will be so much HIGHER on and after 5/19. Possibly cost more than what Xur is selling for it now. And how often will he sell it since the demand for it will be higher.
why so many s.c.? as i said 3 classes=3 heroic strikes=27 s.c. each week....and all i get in NF are 9-12 strange coins....yup smh

I have 50 from various activities. Doing Invective and SGA bounties just to dismantle my old one for 2 shards, dismantle double armor exotics I got from Xur engrams and bought a few from Xur over time.

I currently have 49 exotic shards and have every piece of exotic armor and every exotic weapon(Xbox1). I may need to get a few more shards to upgrade everything but I normally receive at least 3 exotics each week so the shards will continue to roll in before HOW releases.

I bought a few of them today as well. I'll probably keep buying a few every week from now on.

1 ReplyAnother bit of advice for everybody including OP commendations can be traded in for reputation with the dlc so if you save those you can boost up and get some new dlc gear if rahool doesn't hate you

1 Replyi figure i'm gonna need 47 exotic shards. and that's if i want to upgrade every exotic weapon/armor i have. i am only missing 1 exotic helmet and the necrochasm. some guns i probably won't (see......no land beyond). i'm sitting at 35 right now. i'll probably wait until the friday before release and purchase enough to be sitting at 47.

5 RepliesI'm not a fan of the app or vault either but I have come to LOVE the Destiny Item Manager plugin for Chrome. It's what the app should have been. It's still a little rough around the edges but it is fast, smooth and displays all 3 characters and your vault on one page.
