Ok, you have a decent K/D. Congrats! Play more and you will realise that shotguns are better! I haven't played much with fusion rifles in the crucible but i do think shotguns are better! Atleast there's no way you can say that fusion rifles are better in PvE!

Shotguns are too limited in range for pve. And fusions are MUCH better in pvp. Ohks at much further range and hold more ammo.

Shotguns do alot more damage than Fusion rifles in PvE Range isn't a problem if you do not camp. With shotguns, you can kill everything before they start shooting at you ( in strikes ) You kill bosses in 20 seconds. doing every strikes in 5 to 8 minutes. DPS with shotguns is higher than with fusions rifles.

Pocket infinity does more dps than any shotgun, and range means you're forced to be up close, where as fusions can still win up close, but can also fight at a medium distance.

If you think there's no bug. fine. then leave. you'll come back telling me that I was right anyway. You have not played this game enough to say anything worth listening to. Second, you can learn many things on a player by looking at their grimoire. I was looking at yours, you have like 1000 kills with shotguns which is really bad. I'll give you a hint. SHOTGUNS ARE THE BEST WEAPONs IN BOTH PVP AND PVE. One more thing about grimoire, I have done everything in this game so many times, there's nothing else to do/to get for me in this game. So to keep having fun and things to do, I DECIDED to max out my grimoire score. BTW im 21 not 12 years old. Since i have my 100 wins in rumble in maybe 130 matches. Yes shotguns do the much better damage in pve than fusion rifles(especially after 100% damage buff)but I wouldn't consider them necessarily better especially for bosses. To do max damage with a shotgun you basically have to be within melee range. Which pretty much every boss melee or ground strike is practically a death wish waiting to happen. Fusion rifles offer the ability to do very good damage while also staying out of melee range. They each have their places in certain aspects. I'm also not going to dispute the extent at which you've played this game because it's obvious you've played a lot. Yet grimoire is not always an accurate depiction of good a gamer is. Just because someone hasn't spent the time to hunt ghosts, play certain activities or use certain gear does not mean they aren't top tier in the activities they do participate in. You also claim to be 21 which means you're an adult. Please act like it. There is no call for unprovoked mud slinging(retaliatory I can understand). These forums would be a much better place if people could treat each other with respect and dignity. If you can't see eye to eye on something with someone...agree to disagree and move on.

I dug myself into a huge hole at the beginning of the game when I had no clue what this game was actually about. I will give you an example. My first month and half or so I would play the game, save up glimmer and buy ships from the vendor thinking I was making progress by having all the ships. I did the same thing with the gunsmith guns. My son was playing as the second Hunter he's 6 years old and I had no third character, he would spend all the glimmer on emblems.The game finally clicked for me when XUR sold P&T, I never knew we had a xur til then. Then I got an invite from a group to come raid with them in the VOG and they are the ones who turned on my lightbulb. The last 1st person shooter I played was goldeneye 007 for N64. Anyways, playing rumble against me would not be a waste of your time now. See you in the crossfire
