Controlling an AT-AT would be pointless. They're giant and slow. Although I wouldn't mind having a kill-perk or something where you can do drone-like attacks from the cockpit or wherever. That might be cool.

  • Bruh, this is why you have chicken walkers guarding them, and the insane amount of firepower they had could tip the scales when capping cps

  • I don't know about you, but I DO NOT WANT kill-streaks in my precious Battlefront.

  • I don't care for kill streaks either. I'm just saying if there is any interactions with it it should be something like controlling the guns on it.

  • Yeah it pretty much was, you could outrun the ATAT on foot. The only point in driving one was the firepower it had, and getting a spawn point closer to the enemy, which never worked because a competent Rebel team would just kill them as they came. They literally moved in a straight line and that was it, so putting them on rails is just being honest.

  • Yes because there was absolutely no way you would actually turn left or right to, I don't know assist the Empire in capturing the rebel bases? Either way it takes out a fun factor of messing around with your friends, like trying to get on top of them as a Jedi or going skeet shooting with the speeders.

  • Thank you for being smart unlike most of the others here that are clouded by nostalgia

  • That's exactly my point if you guarded them they tipped the odds in your favor. Shooting down the ships towing you wasn't that hard as they had to slow down to circle the walkers legs. Plus it was fun. I can maybe see on Endor having them as on rails but on Hoth no way.

  • ATATs still allow you to control the weapons on them from what I've heard, you just can't dictate it's movement.

  • Well that ruins the best part for me. When me and my buddies would play BF2, I would jump into the AT-AT, go to a command post, and rain down hell while my buddies capped it.
