Or, just hear me out.
Bungie could balance the overpowered weapons to the point where everything was balanced.
I know they can if they continue to try.

A fully balanced FPS will never exist. Even my example of counter strike has some weapons that are just plain better. An ideal competitive PVP is balanced by everyone using the same gun. IMO. It would be boring but it will test skill for sure.
