Destiny really needs better clan support. Activities are nice, but just some basic interface support would be huge. I think they screwed themselves with these million person clans (Like X-Box clan) that don't mean anything. You can't build an interface to support that, and the clan itself probably gains you nothing. It's a marketing ploy for the company/website that sponsors it, but what does that gain Bungie or it's community?

I agree wholeheartedly. As with many things in this game (including the grimoire), I think that there needs to be much better in-game support for clans. The first two and the last items would help with that, as would the designated social space. Right now, it takes a lot of effort to add other clan members when it should be fairly seamless. I think that, if you make it seamless and give people things to do as a clan that is more than simply two trophies, people will be more encouraged to become a part of a clan and be active.
