To answer your question, Bio: probably more of the same for me! A mix of Crota NM/HM and VoG HM runs.
Now there's a definite indication that VoG gear is going to be levellable post-HoW I would definitely be interested in running the VoG some more (because I sharded most of my VoG gear). To that end, since the armour is all available in Normal and it's easier to get through relatively quickly I'd personally be quite interested in a VoG NM triple (or at least attempting such a thing - I don't know if we'd make it through it in an evening or not).
Something a little more "out there" that may well be a "no" from most people: I've Raided in the early morning (9am-ish) with a mix of people from here and people I know from overseas. Would people find it easier to do an earlier start in some instances? Maybe not, but worth asking the question perhaps?
Then of course there's HoW, and whatever that brings. Smaller fireteams, is the most obvious thing. But I think something along the lines of Raids in terms of organisation would be a big plus.
I know a lot of the "veterans" around here have got pretty much all the gear and weapons they could ever want, and that's probably part of the reason interest has cooled a little, ahead of a fresh injection of gear (and game modes) that HoW will bring. I know Rub is planning a clear-out of non-active peeps which will free up some space for new members. Is there any mileage in trying to get some fresh blood into the group to increase numbers looking to Raid? I never venture onto the Eurogamer forums (for instance), but with HoW coming up and a fresh wave of Destiny articles doubtless on the way, maybe now's the time to make any potential newbies aware that we exist? Maybe that's already done, I'm not sure - just throwing stuff out there.

I would be up for some Crucible-type activities, there noting quite like being repeatedly shot by some bloody sniper too make me scream in to a cushion but pvp with friends is so much better, its great to learn tactics and ideas! as sharing ideas has made the raids easier it'll work for those who lack a bit of crucible know how especially on the 3v3 game modes ie when a heavy weapon drop is going to happen you need to send someone with a super (ideally a hunter with golden gun) to take out the other team as if you can its a huge advantage to your two team mates who will then rack up loads of kills for your team because going solo just doesn't work if you want to win

Appreciate the feedback Ant'. All useful. I think it's super important that we look to engage and grow the active people within the Group. Getting new blood in therefore will really help with this. To that end I'll look at doing some VoG only runs for those still needing the gear. Just be aware that the Helms only drop in Hard. As for new people coming onboard from HoW's. I think Rub still frequents the EG forums, and so maybe well placed to go on a recruitment drive! I think it's also important that we cater to everyone in the group as much as possible, whether they be veterans or scrubs like me. The Triple Crota runs were specifically started with that in mind, up up skill those who hadn't been sword bearing before and ensure more people could be confident with it. Continue the great feedback and we'll implement what we can. As for the early Raid starts. Possibly, but I imagine most of us are at work?

Edited by Antelopetube: 4/22/2015 12:44:13 PMWas more thinking of weekends for potential early morning raids. Just wondering whether a morning might work better for some people some of the time? I'm often up by 9am at the latest on weekends so I can equally do mornings or evenings. Probably find that weekend morning raids aren't really wanted because evenings do work well. But there might be some people secretly pining for an earlier start :) I wasn't aware the helmets only drop on HM for VoG! I came to Destiny relatively "late", so VoG passed me by to some extent. I've only run NM to completion in VoG twice. I wouldn't mind having a go at the Relic on the Templar, and HM doesn't seem like the place for that, but maybe the NM triple isn't such a great idea after all. I don't know the answer there - anyone else have any feelings one way or the other? I need a Fatebringer anyway, so would definitely be up for more HM VoG in general, but it's a long enough raid that the existing structure might well still be the best way to approach any HM runs... Also I'll just speak up in support of the Crota NM triple. I know it's "only" NM, and that HM is "the challenge". But personally I find the extra challenge in HM is just Bungie making life awkward, rather than any real tactical considerations. My availability on Wednesdays is limited - I'd happily sign up for a Crota NM triple on another day of the week that I could make. Although I'd probably want to subject you all to my dodgy sword-bearing though so I can get better at it, so you might want to disregard that suggestion ;-) Another thought occurs: Crucible. Now *obviously* Crucible is The Devil, and lots of people here despise it (possibly rightly so). But having dipped my toe in recently to start plodding towards some of the exotic bounties, I didn't find it nearly as objectionable as I expected (and I was vehemently anti-Crucible). And I was playing with randoms. Would people be interested in some more organised Crucible-type activities with people they like and can communicate with? Interest is relatively light, so maybe one a week would be sufficient, but it might be worth throwing out there?

On occasion we've tried to get some crucible action going. Eg: the Salvage trophy. But they either aren't as organised or lack interest. But with The Trials of Osiris coming up, I certainly think it's worth a shout.
-
Incidentally, did that Salvage trophy thing ever happen? I remember some talk of it somewhere (possibly on the wall), because I remember being interested. But that was the last I remember hearing.
-
I'm not sure. I signed up but never heard anything further. I think if we are going to to crucible, they need to be as organised as the Raid threads. (Not blowing my own trumpet, better men than me started this gig and set the expectations.)

Yeah, there might continue to be no (or not enough) interest. Just throwing stuff out there to see what sticks :)
