I sometime don't understand how the grenade works, sometimes it blows up and others it sends seekers.

Yeah thats one of my biggest pepieves with them too. Half the time they get wasted. What I've been finding is pretty much you have to throw it right at them for it start tracking they don't seem to have a very good activation radius.
