Hey all,
We are currently investigating the Vulture error and why this is occurring. While we investigate Vulture I do have a couple of troubleshooting questions that will help our investigation:
Have you happened to change your gamertag in the past week or so?
If you have changed your tag, what method did you use (via console, online, etc)?
Did this issue start occurring before the 14th of April or after?
Can you confirm if you have Gold or Silver XBox Live on your account?
Can you get past the character selection screen?
Have you logged into your profile on another Xbox One console other than the one you're experiencing the issue with?
Have you done any of the following:
Turning off/powercycling the Xbox One
Clearing cache/modem reset
Signing into XBL again
Reinstalling Destiny
Contacting Microsoft to ensure there aren’t issues with the XBL account.

Its been 6 days. Still no official word from bungie and you guys are suggesting power cycles??? I've explained that in a different region, my profile seems to be working, bit not here. I can play any other game online in matchmaking, but not destiny. How is that an Xbox live issue? It's obviously limited to destiny. Fix it and stop deflecting.

We are not suggesting powercycles, we are confirming all of the above listed have been done and ruled out. Again, we are currently investigating the Vulture error and why this is occurring. While we investigate Vulture these troubleshooting questions will help our investigation. If we do not get enough detailed information from those who are encountering this issue, our process will be far slower. And yes, I have noted your results in our report. We have mentioned that we have taken your information. My post above is for the players who have yet to confirm these troubleshooting steps. I hope this clarifies things for you.

I'm still waiting to hear back from bungie and its been a week now. Still not able to log in as I continually get error code vulture. I honestly feel bungie hopes I stop playing the game and that solves this problem. That's how this feels. I'm in the dark hoping for some mystical date when the servers let me back in.

Please note, as I have mentioned before, during this investigation there is no ETA on a fix and we will ensure to update all who are getting this error when we discover more information about this issue. We are still actively investigating and have no other troubleshooting questions at this time as we investigate.

The No ETA isn't helping your cause. It shows how seriously you're taking this. A week? Seriously? And still NO ETA???????
