If that's the case then it might be inside venus or mars after the battle. Or all 3. Split the fireteam into 3 pairs. One pair in the present where we fought Atheon and the other 2 pairs in the past and future on Mars and Venus. That might trigger something. Never tried it but I plan to mess around with it tonight.

Has any one tried to go outside the vault during the gatekeeper battle through the portal's doors?

Some guy claims that when he is in the green world, sometimes he will see the door open. Like, the door to the entrance to the vault that the vex spawn out of, but he never can make it back there.

After defeating Atheon or during the Atheon fight?

He said during, actually before. When you have to go get both relics, he was on green and said that by the time the door started opening, the section was almost complete and he would die right before he got there. Could have been a troll, but his post was [b]very[/b] long and detailed. He put a lot of effort into it for it to be a troll.

Never split the fireteam but iv been in the opposite portal and nothing happened. I wad checking to see if I could get the other relic out. But nothing was there and no oracles spawned

Would make sense because you can open up both portals after the fight.

Perhaps theres something that triggers it as well? I wouldn't mind trying this
