I also have a theory. Maybe they really are just delaying Iron Banner to fix a few things, and plus they're delaying it so it won't interfere with the normal IB schedule when they introduce Trials of Osiris? Like from now on, Trials of Osiris might be on the Tuesday of the third week of the month, and Iron Banner would be pushed to a different schedule. That's personally what I believe, go ahead and leave a comment on what you think.

If Trials of Osiris is being advertised as a major part of the DLC pass than it damned sure had better not be a come and go type event like Iron Banner. That would be ridiculous advertising and hyping it as Bungie has done as part of House of Wolves only to make it a once a month event. I hope for their sake they aren't that foolish with that kind of decision.

I think they said trials would be an invite only ( win enough games to get coin to get in) , so I don't think they would schedule it. But with Bungie behind it, I give up on guessing what they'll do.

Think about it: even if it was an invite only, they wouldn't have both Trials and IB in the same week. That would just be too much. Then again, I'm not sure if a lot of people do PvP, and the only way to get an invite to Trials is through PvP, so they might do IB to promote playing PvP while trials is active. I dunno.
