I am a Day 1 player and Crucible is better now then it was at launch IMHO. Those that ran entire games using blink/shotgun or Felwinters Sniper as a primary really made it a pathetic arena. Shotguns are not supposed to be used ad nauseum and special ammo should be, well special not plentiful. Before the shotgun fest it was Suros that dominated and fusions at 4000 paces didn't help. Suros was nerfed a little too hard IMHO, fusions are better and now special ammo is, well special. So shotguns are more likely to be used as they should be. Situational weapons for CQC not unlimited range spam fest weapons. Those that are complaining are usually those that ran entire games with specials and primaries using lame reasoning for the crutch. Xur selling Suros and TLW is an attempt to give everyone who relied on shotguns only a new powerful primary. If you look at kills for those that don't like the patch they are always those with 80-90% of Crucible kills from shotguns or snipers. Personally I like the patch and the changes in has wrought.
