What faction did you guys choose?
I chose New Monarchy because it makes so I can use my melee and super quicker, also their class items look cool. What did you choose?

If they had actual meaning I would have chosen FWC. Since they are just useful for shaders, I went DO

Vanguard and Dead Orbit.

FWC. I nerd-out enough to actually get into the lore of Destiny, and I like what they're about. Also, I loves my grenades and my supers, so their armor is where it's at for me. I have to admit I'm simultaneously leveling Dead Orbit on one of my alts because their shaders look the best.

Dead Orbit on my Titan and Hunter for the shaders, Vanguard on my Warlock as I may need commendations when HoW drops (only have about 8 so far). Will probably swap my Titan or Hunter to FWC when I get the shaders I want.

New monarchy vanguard crucible and two bounties away from dead orbit rank 3. Doing future war cult last because I already have 3 of their weapons, one for each slot.

I prefer FWC - I like what they stand for, plus they don't have binary shader colours, they have the best looking handcannon as well. However, I main a different faction on each character, and am levelling all factions to level 3 on all characters (as I might want to buy some weapon but only have marks on a different character than the "main" faction character. I still wish faction choice was more relevant to the game.

Until recently, I've only been doing Vanguard and a little Crucible since I started. I randomly got Titan marks (engrams or crucible drops, can't remember) for DO and NM months ago. Decided it was time for a change so I just started ranking: - Dead Orbit on my main 32 Titan - New Monarchy on my second 32 Titan. - Will soon start FWC on my 31 Warlock I'm really just doing it to see what shaders or ships I might get. And to try something different from Vanguard. I'm tired of ranking it up and getting nothing. Plus the gear and weapons are kinda pointless for me right now (true for all factions really). I only use the marks to buy materials to upgrade weapons anymore. I've saved all my commendations just in case tho. I did, however, save up and get Saterinne Rapier from the Crucible vendor. Love that gun! I'm not expecting anything from the factions, it's just something different to do :) so we'll see. It'd be cool if they play a bigger role in some future expansion/story...

Titan=New Monarchy and Dead Orbit Warlock=Dead Orbit Hunter=Future War Cult With Warlock and Hunter, I am waiting until I reach rank 3 with Vanguard and Crucible, before equipping faction marks.

Dead Orbit on my Warlock - FWC on my Hunter. My Titan is still Vanguard because I hate him!

NM on all my 3 classes finally got 3 NM shadersat rank 10, and rank 20 twice trying to get all 4 plus ship

I didn't really [i]choose[/i] a particular Faction, but I like Future War Cult for Intellect/Discipline and I like Vanguard for weapons and to fill in any armor gaps. So I voted Future War Cult. Plus, FWC has a sweet, secluded section of the tower.
