>people just don't understand that everyone on the dev team have their own projects and jobs
>we probably wouldn't like each other if it wasn't for Halo bringing us together
>if we were to make something as a team it would be like a crappy steam greenlight game
>"hur de dur, top down roguelike, early access, only 3 payments of $19.99!"
>we are making a game because we want it, and the community wants it, not because the world needs more indie games
It dies need indie game Mr. Herp derp. The world of now has too many sequels and repetitiveness. We don't want nostalgia we want something new to experience! Sure you can make a similar gameplay mechanic like halo but make it your OWN not a copy paste. And not coming together because its not something that everyone know? Its the creators job to inspire not show then a sketch of what someone already made make your own legend like halo did, what bungie did, It all started with an idea, a blank page with no instructions, but its your choice so i respectfully leave you with success in the future but i hope that you some day realize that you don't need an old concept to bring people back, again make your own legend.
It's very legal. We are abiding by the fair use policy put in place for fan creations, making everything from scratch, not pirating any assets from Halo games, etc. MS also knows about us, and they haven't pounced.
And I don't think you are trying to be mean, I just felt like greentexting.
