The fact that people are actually here complaining about not being able to use a special weapon as a primary just makes me glad that they patched the ammo. Those are probably the same people who see an enemy way across the map and instead of easily dispatching them with a primary and moving on to support the team they instead choose to rush nearly 20 meters just to shotgun an easy target. If you are legit upset that you can't ruin the game for people that actually want to have a firefight and use SPECIAL weapons in those SPECIAL circumstances then to be honest stop complaining and learn to use your primary or leave the game. Every now and then i get thrown into a crucible match where players use shotguns as something to fall back on just in case shit hits the fan, all the while joining their team in suppressing the enemy in those medium range battles with primary weapons, i haven't had that much fun playing crucible since the first month this game came out. i know some people will hate me for this but honestly i don't really care. If you had fun running around with a shotgun then good luck doing that now, because i know for a fact that it wasn't fun for the person on the other side of the barrel.

Well everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion... but telling people to leave the game or scalding them for preferring one weapon over another is a bit elitist in my opinion. I assume the number of people who "rage quit" will be countered, in some capacity, by people who rejoin. In that sense, its a wash. But for the faithful few of us who have stuck around since Day 1 are reeling a bit. I know I am!

I didn't mean to make it sound so aggressive, but this patch was a relief for me honestly. I've been a player since the beta and going into a match where there weren't people using a shotgun as primaries was more fun than the last few months of this game combined. I understand where you are coming from because i was a shotgun person myself but i used mine defensively instead of the other way around. Honestly since the patch i have never once been in a situation where i needed special ammo in the crucible simply because i use these weapons to repel aggressors that get too close. i Also wear gear that lets me carry more ammo for that specific weapon so that helps. i'm sorry if I came out as a douche but this was my opinion. I'm not the best but i am a damn good crucible player so this patch didn't cripple me, but i think that if people we to stop complaining and become the type of player that can adapt and counter any changes it would make them a better player as a whole instead of just sticking to what they know. That type of player finishes on to no matter what. Once again my apologies for the aggression.
