I really liked how it worked in Halo 2 days. I would support this idea in Destiny

Ya I really enjoyed the Halo 3, 1-50 ranking system. It worked so well and always gave you something to strive for. It sucks that so many games these days are hesitant to put in a ranking system. Developers are trying to making everyone feel like a badass regardless of skill. -blam!- that, if you are skilled you should be able to have something that shows it like a rank or exclusive vanity item

It would work because you aren't locked out of any gear or anything like that. Just adds an extra number by your name and maybe the system can group similar ranked players against each other. So you're always playing with people who are around the same skill level as you.

I agree completely It's such a simple thing but could completely revolutionize how people approach he crucible. People like having things to chase, even if that's just improving that number. I would LOVE this
