It's complexity and equipment/weapon variation pales in comparison to dark souls 1 and 2.

  • Agreed, but I expected that in all honesty. As soon as I heard that the weapons in the game transformed, I knew there would be fewer of them. I think it's still a pretty nifty trade off, though.

  • It's also much easier than Demon and Dark souls. I breezed through it on a strength vitality build. Ng+ took like 4 hours.

    I can't speak on Demon Souls since I never got the chance to play it, but I think it's about on par with the first Dark Souls in terms of difficulty. Both are honestly not very difficult games when you get used to the mechanics though, once you learn an enemy's pattern they just become trivial. Dark Souls 2 was probably the easiest of all of 'em in my book, or at least the original content anyway. I haven't played the DLC for it.
