Heavy drops remain the same. Now your shotgun is used how it's meant to be used... in those "special" times where someone gets too close to you.

Unless you are trying to complete the Thorn bounty whereby most people only have void special and heavy weapons. Really do wish they would have nerfed (?) the number of points needed to finish that bounty.

There are other ways to do that bounty beside rushing someone with a void shotgun if that is what you mean. the first tine i did it was 2 weeks into the games release. i just used a void sniper and heavy while playing extremely cautiously. make every shot count and don't die. finished it in less than 3 hours even though i'm not the best with a sniper rifle.

@Spectre2020 @Ehgroal Both are goods points. Maybe I should go back and try VoG and see if I can get atheons epilogue. I was so close the way I was going. Ha.
