It was the [i]expectation[/i]. Do you play the game for PVP? If so that's cool. If not, you're one of the 85% of people that play for PVE that up until 2 days ago was expecting a raid.
Don't act like a smug prick with posts like that, as if you knew there wasn't a raid coming and everyone else was just misinformed!
How many people would have purchased season pass if they knew they were only getting 1 raid? Guaranteed answer: less than actually did. Doesn't matter if this new end game content is good or not (I'm sure it will be great), but that's irrelevant and it doesn't satisfy the expectation.
What Bungie shouldn't do is try to justify decisions with stats. What they need to do is use some humility and honesty. They fu€ked up.

I play the game for PVE. Which is why I am super hyped that we are getting a brand new PVE mode in HoW :)

I'd rather they took the time and released a polished and finished, less glitchy product than release a crappy raid like crota. Which is more like a long strike than a raid. After crota released: a million posts about how glitchy and crappy it is. Hold one back to finish work: a million posts about being promised something and not getting it right then. No matter what they do they can't make you guys happy. Bunch of cry babies. Just let them finish it for once

Hey look: if they communicated that, that'd be one thing. But they've been working on this game for how long and with what kind of budget? Horde mode will be fun--I won't judge it until I play it. But I will judge the lack of raid as being whack

Im with u. If we were told 1 raid 2 bonus game modes( pvp and pve) and about 5-10 story missions i wouldnt have bought it. On another note if i wouldve known that Crota was so short and the additional content was so limited i wouldnt have bought that either.
