Because everyone wants to play the game with just one weapon. Awesome isn't it? No need to be rude, pal.

It is called "primary" You can still use it bro, just not all the time. Besides 4 types of primaries

Because everybody wants to use one single weapon and not everything else. Did you know that pretty much every shooter game these days gives the player a trusty secondary you can use at all times? A secondary or a sidearm. Sometimes a pistol, sometimes a shotgun, sometimes something else. But there's always something you can use, at any given time. Now Destiny is pretty much taking your secondary away. The lack of a sidearm (pistol for example) didn't bother me so much when I bought the game because we had special weapons as secondaries. Now that the specials get a huge ammo nerf, I don't think JUST your primary is enough for the gameplay. Bungie essentially took out the variety and focused gameplay styles away, forcing people to use their primaries most of the time. All the primaries are pretty much medium range, there's no up close and personal focused primaries or super long range primaries. It's all just medium range. Kind of dull gameplay-wise, not much variety.

This isn't every other game lol
