VOG on normal can get you Atheon's Epilogue. Yes it's an terrible auto rifle but the Word of Crota is so awful that they are even in PVP. I actually did better with the AE than WoC if you can believe that.
Also, I did this bounty before using a normal primary and a void special and heavy. It just takes a little longer.

I'll give it a shot. Thing is I don't even have a void secondary at the moment just a rocket launcher so it will take me a really long time that way.

You at least need a void sniper, shottie or fusion. You will never do it if you're always waiting on heavy ammo. :( Hit the LFG groups for a normal VOG or Crota run. The Swordbeaker is a great void shottie you get for beating Crota on normal.
