Most likely a horde mode type thing. I'll give it a chance to wow me, but only because I've already paid for it. As for trials of Osiris... The crucible is a latency ridden joke. I can barely contain my indifference.

We really need that wow factor for this one, they kinda owe it to the dedicated players. Haha, I have to agree with that. Destiny PvP latency tends to make the person with the bad connection a phantom.

Edited by CorruptedEwok: 4/14/2015 12:23:17 PMWell at this point with the underwhelming amount of content being what it is, Bungie need to do better. It just seems like every new title is some bastardised rehash of something else, and Destiny had 1 thing that didn't fit that category. The raids. The raids were something that were actually new to console gaming, so to pull that in favour of a horde mode... I could go play 10 other games for that. This needs to be the best damned horde mode we've ever seen. If they can incorporate some of the raid mechanics then maybe it has a chance. I'm just getting tired of developers promising something new, then completely failing to inovate and playing it safe with popular mechanics from other games.

Definetly! The raids were fresh and exciting. It almost feels like they blame us for their shortcomings at times. Crota's End was far too easy. They underestimated the expertise of us guardians. Thus, cheese tactics were formulated, and they had to make the hard mode Light Level 33 to compensate. If they had created a raid prior to our taking of Crota's realm they really messed up. Messed up so bad that they preferred to pull the raid entirely. If that is indeed the case then I have my doubts about innovation within The Prison of Elders.

I've been asking myself, why is there no raid? We all thought there would be a raid. Bungie knew we wanted a raid. How does it benefit Bungie to not include a raid? The best I can come up with is that all the people who weren't raiding on account of not having 5 friends most likely weren't buying the DLCs. A large enough percentage of those who are raiding already have the season pass, so that's money in the bank. It's noghing new. Developers take their existing customers for granted, while jerking themselves into a stupor over the people who haven't bought in yet.

The truth is powerful. Continue to advocate your displeasure. Bungie talks an awful lot about listening to the community anyways. Maintaining dedicated players to purchase raid content is far more beneficial to them at the moment than the long process of getting new players to not only buy the game but also get both expansions. There is also the hurdle offsetting them invested... Yea Bungie notice us!
