I don't hate them. However, what they are doing is a sin and is wrong, and they know it. The thing that i hate, is how the world tries to accept them and say thats it ok to do and that us straight people need to "SPREAD LOVE". Thats what I hate. People know that it's wrong, but are cowards and don't have enough character to stand up and say that those people are ridiculous. They chose to be like that. Gays say that they are born that way. NO! Men are born to be attracted to females, and Females attracted to males. They choose what they do and how they act. What they say they feel, comes from a life of sin, and disrespect for God's authority.

Ok, i've been raised Catholic all 17 years of my life but I have to say this. Many parts of the world still execute people for being gay, so I wouldn't say the world's telling gays it's ok what they're doing. Due to many children being disowned by their parents for being gay, despite not wanting any of this, I believe your sexual orientation is not a choice, but acting out on it is.I just don't see how simply being attracted to the same gender makes you worthy of eternal torture. I want to follow Jesus, but deep down in my heart, there's a part of me that wants to question a few parts of my religion. I have some serious questions.
1, if God wants man to be with woman and vice versa, would that make being asexual, single, and/or virginity a sin? 2, how could a lifetime of sins equate to a punishment of eternal torture? 3,will Hell be destroyed once Jesus returns and Satan is defeated? 4, how is the verse about how a r@pe victim should be forced to marry her r@pist supposed to be interpreted? 5, why does God seem to act differently in the new Testament than the old one?
I hate asking these questions as much as I long for answers but I just want to see what other people think of these questions.
-
Please ask me more. I want to give you clarity about the Word. I enjoy it very much and hope you understood my answers.
Please ask me more. I want to give you clarity about the Word. I enjoy it very much and hope you understood my answers.
On a final note, there are two other big subjects I'm conflicted with.
1:homosexuality. I know there are a couple of verses against it.But recently, especially the last few months, i've ended up questioning how can two people loving each other who happen to be the same gender be so terrible. Right now I just can't think to myself that gays deserve eternal torture for what they're doing. I really want to follow God, but somewhere in my mind is worried about me becoming a hypocrite if I say that homosexuality is wrong. What I do about it nowadays is remain neutral about it. Don't condone it, but don't condemn it either. 2: I didn't exactly understand your answer to two. If God punishes his children to lead them to purity, wouldn't it be too late if they left Earth and haven't made it to Heaven? Why does God allow those people to continue suffering centuries after their short time on Earth instead of simply erasing their souls from existence?

once again I apologize to you, and God for questioning these things but I'd rather have faith willingly, and wisely, than blindly
Now that you mentioned it, I asked 2 and 3 because one of my best friends claimed to be atheist a few years ago. We never really talk about our religious beliefs but one thought occurred to me about hinting him to Christianity but also trying not to push him away like the Westboro Babtist church. I got worried about what would happen if I screw up or he makes the wrong decision. Which leads me to another question or two
If I make it to Heaven but my friend or loved one doesn't, what can God do to keep me happy despite me knowing what might be happening to them?
neither my friend nor I are 18 yet so we have a lot to live for, then again it's a big world so anything can happen.

Well... Heaven is a perfect place, designed and build by God himself. If you have witnessed to your friend, and tried to convert him using the Holy Spirit, you will be blessed. If you had not, his blood would be on your hands in gods eyes, of not trying to save him. Since Heaven is perfect, there will be no sorrow, sadness, crying, sickness, or death. I have never been to heaven , and have many questions about it myself. I don't know if you will remember people in heaven, and be aware of who you know in hell. Part of me thinks you will, because in the bible, it talks about the rich fool who was too prideful to accept God, and how he asked for a drop of water on his young, and i think it was Abraham who looked down and replied that he could not. So that leads me to believe that we are able to remember and see the depths of hell. So I think that you will know that he is there, but will not feel sadness for the loss. Heaven is perfect, and we will be busy worshiping at Jesus' feet. It's gonna be awesome! I can't wait to walk the street go gold! lol

Edited by superassassin364: 4/15/2015 3:19:55 PMThanks for some of the advice. He doesn't bash people for having faith, otherwise he wouldn't be my friend. Whenever something bad or important happens to my friend, me and my family tell him he'll be in our prayers. If we ever do bring up religion, I may tell him that not all Christians are bigots ir ignorant an that faith can help you a lot through life.
-
That's good...But don't be afraid to tell him that what he is doing is wrong, just because he is your friend. You can be nice about i twithoum making him mad.

#1 No.. being single or having virginity is not. God picked mary to be born of because she was pure in the sight of the Lord. #2 God does not punish us for our life time. We as men are not perfected sin daily. God must chastise His children in order to direct them in the bath of purity and righteousness. #3 Hell will not be destroyed. The bible says that all those who reject God and Hos word, will spend ETERNITY in Hell. #4 There is no such verse in the Bible that says that. In Deuteronomy Chapter 20... The Lord speaks of this issue. The Lords law is that the adulterer(The man) Be stoned(this is not applicable since in the old testament) and that the -blam!-(woman) should be counted innocent. God also gives this act, as an offering for divorce to the one who was betrayed in the marriage. #5 I love it when people ask this question. OK.... In the old testament, The Lord was yet to be sent to Earth to be a living sacrifice, so Jesus was not yet crucified to pay for our sins. The people had to offer a perfect and spotless lamb as a offering. This was used, because the perfect lamb being shed for our sins, is exactly what God did for us. It was a depiction of what was to happen in the cross.

Phuck your God.

Well of its a choice then when did you choose to be straight. Every gay person I know says they knew they were gay when they were children. That from the begining they weren't attracted to women. Also, the way most christans treats gays makes me sick. You're god is supposed to be about love more than anything. Also, who did Jesus spend most of his time with. Sinners. He didn't preach to them either. He just lived a good life and was their friend in hopes that they would follow his example. Christans now are hate mongering fearful people.
-
Its not a choice! And in the bible... those who followed him, followed his examples. I don't think we can say that for the gay boys... now can we/
-
How do you know it's not a choice? We're you gay? Did you suck that dick and take it in the pooper to know. Sounds like youre full of hate hate hate hate.
-
The bible says so... And even if it didn't, How would you know? Are you gay? That would explain you immaturity...
because the bible said so.
Wow if the bible said to throw yourself off a cliff, would you? No I'm not gay. I'm straight and have known I was straight since i was little. It was never a choice I made. Being gay and being immature have nothing to do with each other. But ignorance and immaturity walk hand in hand. And you are nothing more than a hate filled ignorant bible thumper. Someone should pray that you experience real love.
-
Well I think we all know that DEFINITELY won't be you.
-
No, I'm atheist. I don't need a list and the threat of Devine punishment to know the difference between right and wrong. I also know I have the power within myself to handle any problem that comes my way. I also know how to treat a person fairly and with love and experience love daily because I learned to love myself and my flaws. I don't need a ghost to tell me how to live my life. But apparently youre not that strong and need a crutch.
-
HAHA! That's the most pathetic thing I've heard! "I learned how to love my flaws". LOLOL! You have fun with that...
-
I will. But don't worry. If there's a hell. I'll see you there. And whats pathetic is the way you treat people. Is says a lot about your character.
-
I've said nothing but the truth. I've said nothing wrong. You don't like what i say, but since YOU don't have character, you are too prideful to accept the fact that you can't save yourself. My conscious is perfectly clear. I'm not going to hell. I'm saved and am going to live forever in Heaven. But have fun! There will be a few other trillion with you... so don't worry.
-
Whatever dude. I dont have to force my beliefs on others or talk down to them to make myself feel better. But I hope you have a good day.
-
Really? Don't lie. Please. lol I don't need to hate on people to feel better. Not everybody is you man. Got it?
-
You got some issues man. Obviously you can't just let stuff go. And you should get that checked out. But go ahead, Continue to make an ass out of yourself.
-
First Part of your Text I thought you speaking about religious People. Later I saw you are just another fanatist! Shut up or go to your Church and leave us thinking People alone
-
It doesn't sound like you're thinking that hard. There is a comma after later, thinking people should be capitalized if you are referring to a specific kind fo person, and there is a period at the end of your sentence. Lol!
