Suros Regime - Which is more deadly in the crucible?

13 RepliesNO...do not get focus fire. Get smart drift control but stay away from focus fire. Like magic the gathering. You want to remove as much chance as possible so that you can focus on strategy. The final perk "suros" is a chance per hit to proc. You will doors damage and have a faster ttk with an unperked suros with smart drift control. Cheers

Focused fire makes the gun fire 33% slower for 19% more damage, resulting in a decently lower ttk

When I tell my friend I'm gonna use a unupgraded Suros just for Cruc, he says 'It sucks more without focus fire' According to your video, getting all body shots with a unupgraded Suros kills FASTER than getting all headshots with a UPGRADED suros! I think i'll buy a Suros to keep unupgraded. Xur wasn't a total loss... he sold something I already had but wanted another of!

1 ReplyEdited by Racebum: 4/10/2015 9:16:25 PMi actually tried this today. first off i'm joe average pvp player. i don't suck but i'm no where near a top player. past 5 games were 1.09, .82, 1.11, 3.80, 1.17. most my time is in raids and pve etc what i noticed is you get 24dam a headshot unleveled and 32 leveled. it's easier to get multiple headshots with the slow fire. time to kill was so close otherwise as to not even be debatable. the lag between matches is a far bigger concern. if you have one game at 40ms ping and another at 150ms nothing is going to change how easily you die and seem to do less damage at 150ms i'm sure the video is correct, i'm just saying people should try it both ways and see what fits their play style more. personally, i like the 32dam. hammer forged also increases the range quite a lot which lets you play at distance. slow fire again makes doing this easier

I used a fully upgraded Suros in last iron banner and I had no problem completing fast all my bounties... The trick though, is not to stay still while firing, but moving left and right and keep aiming at the head which is easy with the slower fire rate perk...

I suck at crucible but I got 25 kills the other day with my maxed Suros so I'm sticking with my Suros for now.

1 ReplyI did better yesterday trying the Suros in PVP than I ever did with the buffed red death and bad juju. Pulse rifles are just not my thing. Focused fire is an amazing perk.

I stick to potato guns now in the crusabil, they way more powerfull than the auto rifles now. I have morals and a soul, so i dont run around with shot guns or pulse rifles. If i want to change things up ill shoot rubber bands at people. Ive heard they might be getting a nerf though...to OP..

4 Replieshands down to maxed out. yes the weapon fires slower but deals double damage and has a chance to give health with every kill. but what should be taken to consideration is hardlight vs suros regime

16 RepliesWell I just went 26:1 in a control game with my last word. Extreme CQB I would take out my swordbreaker, but the amount of time I used my secondary was very minimal. I'd say last word is top 3 for best weapon in crucible.

Without upgrades is better for PvP (except Iron Banner because then damage and upgrades matter) With upgrades is better for PvE and Iron Banner
