Looking for confirmation on Roc Strike Rewards
Hey everyone,
I know that most "requirements" threads and what not are bullshit but I wanted to ask something that my buddy constantly insists is true. He claims that the faster you complete a Roc strike, the better rewards you will get. I assume this is another BS rumor but can anyone confirm my suspicion?

Edited by HatMoney: 4/7/2015 7:21:42 PMEvery enemy you kill is a chance for an engram to drop, so kill more enemies get more engrams/rewards. The exotics are random and few and far between. As a rule of thumb in a level 26 ROC strike I kill everything that is level 26.

You can get pretty solid legendary drops and a very slight exotic chance. Not worth grinding for exotics imo.

2 RepliesI heard if you take your time and don't rush it the better the rewards, like kill every thing, I tested it with a few mates and we did get a few legendary engrams, I got a Suros and a legendary engram from one of them and the legendary engram gave me another Suros so wether that be luck or what I don't know

Hey my friend. It isn't about the speed, but speed definitely helps. 100 ROC strikes is 1 Exotic. I counted from one, and bam! TLW at 100.

1 ReplyNope... this is BS. PRNG is still PRNG. Doesn't matter what you do. I will recommend killing everything you can in drakness areas, because rare and legendary drop rates are increased in ROC. So more kills, more chances for drops.

Bs. The more kills you get the higher chance of a drop. Let the scrubs speed run it, you stay and kill every thing.

It sure sounds like it is all just RNG based. Pretty sure any rumors are just people being people and trying to find patterns even when there are none. Thanks everyone! PS I would still love if someone from Bungie would confirm that it is all just RNG and there is no way to improve or decrease your chance at getting good gear

Kill all the things. In the last week I have gotten hawkmoon and plan c. Not my first of the two but still awesome. First time I have ever seen an exotic from a roc(or tiger).
