I think at this point you HAD to have played 4 of those 6. The legacy data is handled my "Waypoint" now, I'm not sure you could register all of those games on Bnet anymore.

You needed to play all of the halo games, including Halo CE, Halo Wars, Halo: Reach (best one, for those assholes who disagree), Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3. I believe this is the chronological story order, and I do not know where CE goes in this.
