Question is, will America ever allow itself to have another great President?
At this point there is so much vitriol and negativity regarding ANY decision made by either side of politics that even if there was a great President, one side of politics will always be against what they stand for, what they try to do and what they hope to leave as their legacy. Going back decades it was more amicable, the emphasis of politics was on the greater good of the nation....now its just a way to try and bring people you disagree with down and do your best to ensure your side "wins" no matter the cost to the greater population.
There are great Presidents in the United States' past but I do not think the current and future idiocy will allow there to be one in its future.

Even abe lincoln was hated very viciously by his opponents. JFK certainly had opponents politically but his tragic death stopped criticism and his legacy is great Washington had to fight the British as well as loyalists, colonists fighting for the British FDR was president during possibly our countries hardest recent years, with the Great Depression and WW2 but had fierce opponents to his 3rd term All considered great presidents

Indeed. I was pretty smart as a kid, and I was really into history and politics (I was weird AF, don't judge). I made a choice that when I turned 18 and could vote, I would never vote for a candidate that focused most of their time on attack politics, even if that means I don't vote. I'm almost 30 and I haven't even bothered to register.

Liberalization is killing america.

Was Nixon a great president?
-
UK is like that now... Parties concentrate on putting down their opponents instead of stating why their policies are better. It's why I don't even vote.

Correct. The ignorant of America being spoon fed by partisan media is killing this country
