If it's still downloading, turn off the wifi on your phone and computer. It's taking up bandwidth lol
EDIT: also, I played this game on PC. Eventually you will need to buy a mount due to the enormous world. A decent mount might take a micro transaction but there are mounts that you can buy with in game money.
