No I didn't, but after looking it up, I'm quite excited. It's so close too, 20 light years isn't far at all. Imagine it this way, since there is no friction in space, all we would have to do is gradually speed our space craft up to Mach 10 and wait for about 19.5 years. After that, we gradually start to slow the craft down to a slow enough pace where we can avoid hitting something like an asteroid belt, or don't fly right into the sun at light speed. After that, we can slowly make our way to the planet possibly containing life (maybe another year or so wait time), and presto, we have traveled to another planet.
Infact, we don't have to stop at Mach 10, we can accelerate ourselves even to Mach 40 and only have to wait 5 years, as long as we give ourselves enough time to slow down.
