I'm in Cali. There's a drought problem but it's a cycle and will pass. It happened in the 70s and is now as well

Yeah well... Maybe if they had planned a better geographical position for a major settlement, it wouldn't be an issue right now. 20 million in Cali right? 19 RepliesThat's what they get for abusing their groundwater capacity and trying to build an oasis near a desert. Plus its Cali, It's no big loss. What they get for being Anti-Gun hippies. It's not all doom and gloom, It can still be reversed with responsible environmental water controls. If all else fails, they have the whole damn ocean to desalinate. Expensive as -blam!-? Yes. Better than drying out into dust. Plus the crops exclusive to the region, while delicious, are not that critical. Loosing all the meat, dairy, and grains would be a much more worrisome problem. Video comparing the current drought to the dust bowl? Are they stupid? While the drought may be similar , it was poor agricultural practices that cause the actual 'dust' part of the Dust Bowl.
