Personally I would say that he doesn't need to because he exists out of what we think of as 'time'. He does exist in his own time line but it's not like he's sitting around waiting to see how things turn out here, he's knows the beginning middle and end of the entire earth's existence. Not necessarily LDS doctrine just my thoughts on the subject.

I can't find imperfections neither, of course our sense of perfection is so imperfect that even mentioning all His perfections would be an impossible task for the moment XD
