I like a good tequila here and there. But I love beer for the taste and vast creativity that goes into some of them. Getting drunk by the end of the night is just an added bonus. I'd still drink beer if it didn't get me drunk, would you still drink tequila?
I would actually. I've heard and read it has a couple of good health benefits.
But i say all of this because I'm not a big beer fan. Ill have an ocasional one here and there with my father. For the most part ill keep away from it though.
While I have never heard anyone ever tout the health benefits of tequila (sounds a bit questionable to me) I will take your word at it. What kind of beer do you drink with your dad?
For the most part Mexican beer. Corona and an ocasional dosxx. I have had blue moon, shiner, bud light, coors, miller, Heineken. You know normal party beer.
That i know that there are some nice artisan beers out there yeah. But i dont know enough to actually go and look for them. Its not like I'm opposed to trying anything new.
Here is a list of Texas GABF medal winners. Any beer that wins a medal from this competition is considered one of the best examples of that style in the US. Texas did pretty well last year with 16 medals total. Solid showing for a growing beer state.
