Inferno....what's the incentive???
Inferno is a welcomed event and it adds a bit of variety to the game, and challenge to crucible but what's the incentive really?
I think there should be an Inferno VENDOR who has bounties, and attainable guns, gear, etc. through ranking up, similar to Iron Banner. There is a challenge and purpose to playing Iron Banner....
Why not make Inferno similar to Iron Banner??
Just a question/suggestion.

I like te vendor idea. Otherwise the benefit is winning and showing you skills.

But if you play in a two hour window on a specific date and get matched up with six bungie employees who happen to be playing among tens of thousands of others, you get the chance to defeat an organized communicating team with your disorganized group of randies!!! Look you can even get this emblem that doesn't even look cool or unique!! The Bungie bounty inferno event is a joke.

6 RepliesIt's end game content the incentive is fun. Your gear does not come from crucible. Your gear comes from PvE and the occasional PvP [b]EVENT[/b]. Event being the keyword because again, [i]your gear does not come from crucible.[/i] Crucible is end game content with the chance of a reward. If you want to be [b]certain[/b] of a reward go play PvE.

It's for fun man. It's not an event it's just a new playlist. If they made it into an event with exclusive gear and weapons that would be cool, but it's just to bring some excitement/ experimentation to the crucible.

If anything just the fact that is a bit different. And barely, no radars has been done already in my personal experience my first time without radar was Gears of War and Halo Reachs Swat game list. Unless you consider blue gear or the .2% chances of a legendary/exotic a reward.
