I would say any gun that has a chance of dropping everytime you do VoG hard is less rare than some of these vendor guns that can only drop via nightfall, or legendary package/engram. Which one is the most rare? Survey is the only way to tell that. I personally have never received Prudence from New Monarchy. I come across nearly every other gun.

An arc Prudence II with firefly is my go to sniper. It's fun to see how many minions you can kill with one shot.

The only sniper I have ever had with firefly is Praedethys Revenge. Every scout rifle I get has it, but I'd much prefer it on a sniper.

I cant get it on a primary to save my life, though i wouldn't trade Prudence for it. Hits so hard!

Had two Prudences, sharded one. The thing is, the Praetorian foil only has a chance to drop in one specific part of the hard mode, whereas faction weapons can drop anywhere as an engram. Pre DLC, not many people ran the hard mode because it was extremely difficult to get to 30, and now not many people run it because the gear is obsolete. I still run the VoG on occasion, I have about 40 clears total, and have only seen the foil drop twice.

Than the timepiece should be right there with it. I'm pretty sure I got the timepiece well after I got the foil.

Only reason I feel the Foil is rarer than the Timepiece (which I just received for the first time last week) is that people generally get the Gorgon cp, then run through the end, giving them a chance at the Timepiece, but not the Foil. There seem to be a lot fewer fresh runs than runs that start at the Gatekeeper for VOG. I also rarely see an Oracles cp advertised on the recruitment section of these forums. The most common cp's posted are either Templar, Gatekeeper, Gorgons, or Atheon, all of which exclude the chance to get a Foil while including a chance to get the Timepiece. As one person posted earlier, Supremacy is actually probably rarer than the Foil as it was only available for one week.

Oracles CP used to be the most popular checkpoint in the game before the Dark Below. Nobody cared about the first chest and wanted to skip the confluxes. Today, yes gorgon is probably more common, but that certainly didn't use to be the case.

I got it,and despite the high impact its damage is really low,but I got it maxed out and it one shot oracles.

VoG foils my attempts to gain all raid weapons .. yet again. Why.. did the elusive foil evade me so. It drops as much as the crux from what I've seen.

Crux and Foil are the only raid drops I have yet to get.

( It's be more, but they didn't have crota raids patched into the counting right away.) While I've hit it hard, I hear others that have gone much longer and it's either the foil or vex someone is still missing. I think the vex drop is more frequent though.

I thought timepiece was one of the rarest. I've gotten my fair share of foils. I actually use it a lot on cabal missions, melts them.

I've gotten about 20 timepieces, 1 foil.. It is all random though
