Highest damaging super in the game is Radiance with HoPF, and it's not even close.

I agree i love sunslinger for the sheer damage output with HOPF. I use radient skin with it and double nade. Undying mind is awesome to run with it

No, you have to subtract the damage you would have dealt shooting your gun the whole time your spamming grenades.

So if you are going to compare damage of one class's super to another, which is what you've done with your claim, you have to take that into account. You have to compare the damage done of one class for the duration of the sunsinger super, to the sunsinger's damage for the duration of his super.

Striker and Voidwalkers have supers with high instant damage but low damage over time. Radiance is the opposite - high damage over time but low instant - still enough to instakill though. Hunters fluctuate.

And how would you do that? Assume the other classes who blow their load in one shot have 7 Gjallarhorn rockets to shoot after?

You'd have to have loads of data to do it properly, you'd have to average dozens (at least) of each of the supers damage and then of gun damage with various weapons in the same situation. That is technically possible but impractical, all I'm saying is, you get lots of grenade damage and that is great, but a sunsinger spamming grenades at templar (or any reliably crit-able boss) is getting out dps'd by anyone with black hammer. There is no denying the utility and flexiblity of the damage dealing aspect of a sunsinger super, but it isn't so cut and dried as "highest damage super period". It has it's strength and weaknesses, on templar for example it is great if a sunsinger will actually super in the first place (different issue), and use it to kill harpies dropping orbs for the relic bearer to pick up, but if someone is getting swarmed by 8 harpies I would rather a titan or voidwalker smash then instantly than wait for a sunsinger to slowly pick them off with grenades, meanwhile someone got shot down or had to hid/run away.

Grenade spamming + Self Rez/Radiant Skin + Melee Spamming + Hopf = Best PvE super

In its own regard nova bomb makes sense but I think the perks are a mess and have zero relevance to the class
