Hand cannons run the crucible now thanks to Bungie's poor assessment of what's going on in the crucible because stats is all that matters to them. I play skirmish a lot and tend to checkout the opposition while the screen is loading. It used to be that when I saw the Vex or Suros I always thought I was going to have my hands full, now its the opposite - it means its going to be easy pickings.
