22 exotic weapons.
9 CE weapons.
1 additional void sniper
1 additional arc sniper
9 iron banner weapons
9 vog weapons
That's 51 weapons by itself.
Doesn't include any doubled you may want to keep (I have 3 ice breakers, have 2 fangs, searching for a third).
Doesn't include any PvP weapons you may want to keep (I have a void shotgun for thorn bounty and another shotgun for PvP).
That's doesn't include any additional weapons you might want to keep that are 300 (I have an old vanquisher that I want to keep, as well as an old swarm).
That's 59 weapons, and I actually have a lot more than that.
That doesn't include a void, arc or solar fusion. That doesn't include an arc rocket launcher. That doesn't include a solar or void machine gun.
That doesn't include anything you want to level to dismantle.
And doesn't include the new stuff from the next xpack.
You want me to do armor also?
And the worst is the general tab. Ships, shaders, emblems, telemetries, synth, etc.

I have lots of weapons and I almost never have an issue with the space even in the current vault,. You should have certain weapons for certain characters that never touch the vault, at the most I only transfer 5 or 6 weapons between characters. If you are tying to transfer materials that is a little different because it is hard to fit materials in the current vault and the +4 space really wont help much but when it comes to weapons I have trouble understanding why there is such an issue. I think the problem is that a lot of players don't like to hold onto weapons with there characters but want to store things in the vault and only pull the stuff out that is needed. Also you stated you have 3 icebreaker, I do as well and in this case none of those icebreakers should ever touch the vault.

Yeah the ice breakers shouldn't ever hit the vault, but ones not leveled so a fully leveled one and one of the unleveled ones do but the vault to be leveled across the three characters. But yeah, my primary concern is now the general vault. Weapons are better, if still a little annoying.

Im not trying to criticize anyone for being frustrated. I just have a hard time understanding what players are doing to be running out of vault space so easy, I collect weapons, have every exotic and multiples but have only ran into a vault space issue a few times with the increase to 36 I will never have the issue. I cna understamd the genral part of the vault, I often run into issue when tryign to transfer materials along with Telemetry's and glimmer boost. I often cannot fit certain ones into the vault all at the same time.

You can only equip one exotic. So why not have other weapons that benefit the nf and stuff? Or armour that increases ammo for different guns. I don't hoard, but coming from mmo's, I understand the process needed for large vault. I still have jackolytes in my vault.......

I still have jackolytes also. I don't ever delete an exotic if it's the only one I have. You never know when they are going to be useful. People that deleted red death probably regretted it when CE hard came out. People that deleted thorn or bad juju pre-buff probably regretted it. Maybe the invis from patience and time will be useful in the next raid. Maybe the firefly from thunderlord, or maybe the dragon breath flare. Maybe super good advice like the oracles. Maybe the thorn dot. Maybe the red death heal. Maybe the mida run speed. Or maybe some of these weapons will be buffed. You just don't know. So it's not worth deleting anything.

If you have more than one of any exotic at any time you are doing it wrong. Iron Banner gear is crap compared to Raid gear anyways so why keep it? I know people who still have their originaly. Again, quit holding on to everything and this wouldn't be such an issue.

Having more than one exotic of the ones you use the most helps save time. There's nothing I would want to go do without at least grabbing my ice breaker. (The same will be true of gjallarhorn should I ever have the opportunity to buy it from xur). I would prefer to be able to [i]at least[/i] stock all my other exotics and all my raid weapons and all my PvP weapons in the vault, as well as any weapons I am leveling (to test or to dismantle). But that's not going to happen. But as I've been saying, the biggest issue isn't the weapons tab anymore. It's the general tab. All three of my characters shaders and ships and emblems inventories are full. And there are no doubles other than iron banner stuff. Add to that the other ships and shaders and emblems and planet materials and currencies and glimmer buffs and telemetries and there is not enough room. God forbid they introduce a new inventory currency next xpack.

Lol it's basic gear for every class with wolves and trees slapped on it Also, Gold which is very Generic to begin with. But, hey, if you are trying to make your character into the Destiny equivalent to Goldmember then by all means go right ahead and wear your Tree wolf armor.

I hoard exotics but my fault has tons of space left. I normally have Gjallahorn hawkmoon and icebreaker. Ice breaker for aybss, gjallarhorn for crota ogres, and hawkmoon for normally anything
