A chill ran down my spine as I read [i][b]Gears of War: Judgment[/b][/i]. What an atrocious monstrosity.

That bad? I've never played it. I liked the first two gears. Haven't started the third yet. It's in my very large backlog of games on my shelf.

Gears 1, 2 and 3 are all great. Judgment takes what made Gears great, steps on it a few times, and then flushes it down the toilet.

I'll have to check it out when it comes up just to see. It's free anyway. Another question, where does it stand when played chronologically?

Before Gears of War 1. The story mode is still ok, but the multiplayer is garbage. So I'd recommend it only for the story.
