I haven't played the pre-sequel so that's the main reason, but I really enjoyed BL2. Looking forward to cleansing my soul of the indignity of 2014. This how this is how this type of game is done best, I wished some other developers could have emulated the good aspects of this franchise with their venture. ={

I agree, Gearbox did a lot of things right with the Borderlands series. From game design, mechanics, writing, balance, and DLC there are a lot of things other devs could learn. My only experience with Gearbox is BL, so I'm highly anticipating Battleborn and (someday), BL3. I'll definitely pick up the Handsome Collection when it drops to $40 or below. Not that it isn't a huge value at $60, but I've already invested a lot of money in these games for other platforms. The main reason I'm doing it again is for the co-op - this is the first time all of my group of friends are on the same platform.
