These aren't questions I'd normally ask right off the bat, but since you seem to be well versed in troubleshooting I'll go on ahead. Have you contacted your ISP regarding the issue? You mention a technician in your post, but you are unclear on whether or not it was from your ISP or perhaps just a knowledgeable friend. Have you tried using an alternative modem? If you contact your ISP, they should have no problem sending a technician out(see above question) to test a new modem in your home. This is something I needed to do myself when the game came out. We'll start with these two questions and walk our way forward from there. Next, while I am absolutely[b] NOT[/b] a Bungie employee, I can assure that they are aware of, and are working very hard on the issue. This game is their baby, and no parent wants to see their baby being eaten by Beavers, Weasels, etc. So while I certainly cannot apologize on their behalf, I can certainly give you my sympathy as a fellow gamer. Let me know how things are looking after you read this, I'd love to help you resolve your issue.

  • Nice constructive reply and it makes sense. I think all we want is an official statement saying that this is an issue and it is being dealt with. Would appease a lot of "players" on the forums.

  • Hey wow, thanks for being so invested. It's nice being a part of a community. Man, I've done everything. I set up and/or unblocked every single port in my modem. I've hard wired and unwired. The technician was with the ISP but he was there to help me gain access to the firmware. My modem works 100% on everything else besides Destiny. Not really sure what's up. By the way, if you want to add me on Xbox One my screen name is Celtic Sapper

  • I know it's a hassle, but if you have the time and availability ask your ISP to bring by another modem to test out. They should have no problems complying. From the description that you've given me, you've done everything else that[i] should[/i] fix the problem, but it never hurts to give this a try. As a full grown man, it was a little embarrassing for me to request a tech, then say ask him to hold on while I check if my video game works. It sounds like your ISP provides excellent service though, and in sure they'll want to resolve your issue as much as I do. Give then another call, and let me know what they say. [spoiler]I'm on ps4 :/ Regardless, I must remain a mysterious figure of the wild. Helping those in need, and punishing those who oppose me! xD[/spoiler]
