Anybody try Battlefield Hardline yet?
Contemplating buying at as an early birthday present. If you have any other recommendations please let me know.

It's good, but is lacking content. Not worth full price, expect it to drop in price fast.

In what other game can you go around as a cop jumping out of helicopters and drop C4 onto a jeep full of criminals below you. Might want to hurry before everyone gets the best guns in the game. The starter guns aren't that good Hotwire is so much fun. Anyway the single player is a bit cheesy and not groundbreaking However at the end of it t gets this nice lighthearted tone and has some legitimately funny moments. Easy 8.5/10

It's great in my opinion ... The fact is that it's less vehicle orientated , they are used more for transport and Less for overpowering everyone on the map is what's putting some people off ... They've went for a more infantry based game this year and I personally find it refreshing in the bf series ; a lot of people are bringing the game down because of this but in all seriousness the game is good . The MP is your standard battlefield mp that we've com to know and love , it's fractionally faster because of the theme and map design but overall the same feel as the rest of the bf games .. The game modes are enjoyable and the shooting mechanics perfect as always ... Admittedly the spawns aren't great but they are looking into it all in all its a solid 8/10 for me and a great addition to the BF series

I Beta tested it. It was nothing special. While I like the idea of playing as an officer or detective, I would rather do that in a mystery game. The character designs, focus on short range, and general forced feel of it didn't appeal to me. It should have been DLC or something.

Story: 7/10 kinda cheesy Multiplayer: 6/10 nothing too ground breaking. I'd just pick it up on sale later, it's nothing special.

it is fun. some of the maps aren't very good and there is a lack of weapons but it is still fun. if your on the fence and strapped for cash wait for a sale.

Played the beta. It was meh just like the last two battlefields.

Campaign's actually decent this time. Multiplayer doesn't have large scale battles but still has a battlefield feel to it. I do hate that some weapons are faction exclusive.
