Ruin Wings
Is it just me, or does the heavy ammo drop perk sometimes just not work at all with Ruin Wings. I'll have times where heavy ammo drops as much as primary. And then I'll have times where I never get any. What's that about?

Doesnt work in my opinion. The only thing I do notice is that when you do pick up heavy ammo it always has more in it. When I play with my titan heavy ammo rarely drops. But when I play with my warlock/hunter it drops so much more.

The whole system of heavy ammo drops in this game makes no sense. You will get none forever then like 5 drops at a time. With ruin wings the 5 drops just turns into 10 in my experience.

I think it works like this... I'm going to make up numbers for the sake of understanding the theory... So the percentages I give are wrong, I know this. [i]Heavy ammo has a 25% chance to drop under normal circumstances. Wearing Ruin Wings augments your attack to force drop heavy ammo on kill about 10%. Wearing Ruin Wings does not change the normal drop rate, but you do see it more frequently.[/i] Again, I know the numbers are wrong. I threw them out there for the sake of the theory. Now... Is it true? I still have yet to come to a conclusion.
