Xur is (sort of) a savior to me
My RNG luck sucks donkey balls and I don't get very many exotics. I mean, the only two exotics I got from RNG were SUROS Regime (which I am really grateful for) and a No Land Beyond (or an exotic shard >:D) The rest of my exotics like Plan C, Icebreaker, and Red Death came from Xur. Hell, all of my exotic gear came from Xur. So, I'm kind of glad when Xur sells a halfway decent exotic that I know I have a chance getting.

can't get lucky if you don't play. do atheon 50 times, and i bet you'll have something to show for it. so it's really not luck, when other people are out there putting in more time than you are.

But I do play though...I don't expect results all the time, but when I put days into a game and people with 18 hours have better loot then me, from RNG, it makes me pissed

But maybe they're more efficient than you. 18 hours and 50 atheon clears vs your 100 hours doing strikes and patrols.

I also never do strikes/patrols. Well, strikes for the weekly's. Besides, I do put a lot of time and effort into this game. It takes me 5 hours to get a good group. FIVE -blam!-ING HOURS! The entire thing takes 20 minutes! I've done raids that have lasted 5 hours! I expect results from putting all my valuable time into this game. But when someone gets a GHorn when they just join in for the loot, don't blame me for being just a little pissed and wanting something.
