I think it initially was a map/ammo/loadout problem but I'm leaning toward it foremost being a community problem now. Everyone with some form of competitive edge jumped ship so left are those whose only chance of getting a kill is to trade - and the easiest way of doing that is to constantly charge people with a shotty. They're idiots. Don't trust me? Watch a stream, you have these idiots charging at eachother from 50 yards just to meet in a shotgun duel.

easiest and most effective solution to getting those shotgun no skill users are to NERF the shotty in PVP. I still don't know why bungie did that last weapon update to buff the pulse rifles, which was much needed but they should've definitely nerfed the shottys. Their purpose was to have people be able to use more different types of weapons and I just think nerfing the shotty is needed to have people use skills rather than cheap kills to gain and advantage in PVP. Especially in IB. #nerfshottys
