Holy sh!+. Nobody has ever suggested this. Actually, there have been several long discussion threads about this. It eventually dies out because Bungie never responds and a bunch of idiots start threads whining about Nerf this or that, or wanting a weapon (Gjallarhorn!), or a dumb poll about what Xur might bring next... It just gets pushed down beneath all the garbage, just like your thread will. But for the record, I am with you. Mandatory is a bad word, especially paired with Matchmaking.
