I love Mass Effect. Great games.
That being said.....Commander Shepard is a girl scout compared to even the scrubbiest of guardians.

Yet an adept with force barrier allows it's team mates to shoot from inside their cosy bubble, keeping them safe, a fire team can hide in their Titan's bubble, but have to get put and be vulnerable to attack

Hahaha true. Yet they could drop turrets to keep the guardians at a distance while shooting at them themselves
