What do you think Oryx is?
I think he will be something totally new.
Edit 1: love these ideas! A few people have mentioned that Rahool is Oryx. Frankly with that Easter egg in the Skywatch I am starting to believe it.

The Easter egg is about the original loot cave. Basically a million deaths for master rahool aka to farm engrams to level him up like crazy. Basically its bungie's way of saying "screw you for breaking out game guys."

2 RepliesIdeally I think Oryx should be something entirely new in the roster of Hive enemy types, if he were to become a Raid boss in-game he probably would be an even bigger knight than Crota and have a slightly different design. I say, why not go all out and make Oryx the size of a Titan in God of War and have the fight be epic scale.

The skywatch thing is an easter egg, its because that was the loot cave that players killed millions of enemies in to get engrams
