Yah, I've scored, TLW, thunderlord and nlb since they gave her the chest drops. I heard that you only get one loot drop per week, so of you do it on normal you don't get loot from hard. Is this true?

Yes. Her rewards are treated like a chest. Only one drop per character per week. Hard has a higher chance for exotics.

Are you sure hard has a better chance for exotics? If it's treated like a chest than it would have the same chance on normal and hard would it not?

They increased the drop date slightly. Otherwise what would be the benefit to doing deaths in her on hard to normal. Its the same with the exotic chest in VoG. It had a slightly higher chance to get exotics on hard than normal. That being said I still people get a lot of exotics on normal.

Yes hard mode just like in VoG has a higher chance to drop exotics.
