first of all, Black Hammer has no place here, it's a Legendary and all others are Exotics ;)
...as far as Exotic Sniper rifles go, Icebreaker is DEFINITELY the most versatile one for PvE, however Patience & Time is the one i vote The Best Exotic Sniper rifle in the game, it is mainly because of how it handles - it has exactly ZERO recoil and fires VERY fast, meaning you can cahin those Critical hits unlike with the other Exotic sniper rifles
...now, as for Legendary ones, this would be mainly based on the perks they come with, however i would say Efrideet's Spear is one of, if not The Best Legendary Sniper rifle in the game

Just to let you know...LDR 5001, vendor version, hits for more damage than P&T and has very low recoil.

Black hammer is the [b][i][u]BEST[/u][/i][/b] legendary sniper hands down nothing beats it in PVE other than ice breaker

it's not, trust me. it only holds 3 bullets and has ridiculously slow reload. i know it's got a perk that refills magazine as long as you hit Crit with all 3, but it's VERY situational - you can do this to Sepiks, Nexus or Fallen Walker, but try to make it trigger fighting WAVES of charging enemies, or against Wizards, Knights or Vandals,.....needles to say it's next to useless for PvP, but that's another story Efrideet's Spear on the other hand is a GREAT sniper rifle overall ;)

I use it all the time and hit white nail all the time, you just have to be quick and sharp to maximize it.

yep, but you can roll Spear with Field Scout, however Black Hammer caps at 3 and there's no way to change that ;)

Isn't that just one extra bullet? I think I'm good with Amor piercing rounds instead.

Edited by A K: 3/15/2015 6:50:48 PM...well, not 100% sure, but accordingly to my understanding of how Field Scout works, it should ALWAYS give you Maximum ammo capacity for said weapon-type (both in Mag as well as for Reserve ammo), so for Sniper Rifle this should be 6 armor piercing is great PvP perk (especially combined with Thorn's DoT)))), although it was nerfed recently and i have a feeling the nerf slightly damaged weapons with this perk
