People complain no matter what. Half of them who complain are the ones who bought something from Xur before and are mad that anyone else would buy it, too. I already had a Red Death but I bought another one. They're good to have. I don't care if you "earned it" or "Xurned it" since it's a game and I don't take it that seriously. I personally think the only thing in the game that counts as rare are the exotics you have to do a bounty for since you actually have to work hard for those. It's not something you can get from Xur or RNG.
